Come-up story
Childhood
Depression
Transition
I started off as a low-income child, brought up in a broken home. I developed a personal fable at a young age as I was not popular among my peers by the time I reached grade 3.
I became enclosed in my own thoughts and emotions, and physical surroundings. (Books, Video games, room, toys). My mother was working multiple jobs most of the time, or out with friends to relieve stress, so I began to stress eat and fell into a state of depression and suicidal thoughts, feeding not just my stomach, but anxiety and ill manners aswell.
At the age of 12, I was forced to live with my father and step-mother in Bancroft, ON. It wasn't the worst living circumstance. but as a city kid moving to a rural area, I made even less progress with the people around me.

Personal Actualization
Come grade 7, I figured I was tired of being the smaller guy. Puberty had hit me early, but height was not in the cards, so I turned to the next best thing. Sports Illustrated Magazine. Seeing the size of the boys around me, I was hit with an idea that would eventually save my life.
Finally, I moved to Quebec and started my business in personal training and bodybuilding. I realized that the world needed a little bit more love and health so why not be that source of light? Fitness and health helped me manage my hereditary mental and physical flaws, it helped point a direction in my life which was otherwise unrecognizeable. I've moved back to my home town in Peterborough, ON, with only the clothes on my back and have began to build something once again, the rest is up to me and you. I've talked the talk, now let me walk the walk. Join Entitled Fitness today!
The Great Obsession
The gym didn't come easily for me, but damn did it ever feel good. The second I performed the first rep of the cable row (my favourite exercise at the time), I was filled with anxiety from those watching but also pride for myself and being stronger than I thought possible. I began running and lifting twice a day, everyday. I looked for any excuse to exercise. Running 30 km a week, doing MudRuns, Rock climbing, Gymnastics, Obstacle course; you name it, I did it.
